He played a key role in the consolidation of the major banks (Manufacturers Hanover, Chemical) that became Chase Manhattan, a process that played out for almost two decades culminating with the JP Morgan merger. When major banks (Citibank) and brokers (Merrill Lynch) were having control issues globally, he was hired to help rectify the situation and bring centralized operations back to New York. Since 1971, his primary focus has been on asset recovery and abandoned property, he has worked on the resolution of some of the major liquidations or crisis in the Industry. He has served in many capacities in re-organizations from chairman of credit committees, creditor trustee to consultant to various brokerage firms in liquidations, consolidations and mergers/acquisitions.
